Government Meetings

Our webcasting system makes it possible for you to tune in to live meetings of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners, its committees and subcommittees from your personal computer anywhere you are.

To watch, you only need an Internet connection (best viewed on a high-speed connection) and Adobe Flash Player and you can follow the meetings at home, at the office or even from out of town.

While the general public cannot participate in meetings virtually, County staff and invited participants may present comments via Zoom.

For Zoom meeting participants, in an effort to ensure that all future Board of County Commissioner and related committee meetings run smoothly and securely, several County teams are working collaboratively to coordinate a seamless experience for all participants, both in person and virtual.

In addition, the following Zoom meeting participant etiquette is to be followed:

• Log in to Zoom using the registered email
• Ensure that your full name is displayed on Zoom. For security purposes, any participant that does not display their full name will be removed from the Zoom meeting by the host
• The microphone should be muted at all times unless the participant is required to speak
• The camera should be turned on at the time the participant is required to speak
• The camera should be positioned accordingly so that video has appropriate lighting and angle, displaying the participant clearly
