The mortarium preventing disconnections for non-payment has been suspended as of October 1, 2021. Water service disconnection will resume on November 1, 2021.

Anyone with a past due balance will be automatically enrolled into a payment plan. Payment plans will run between 18-months to 30-months depending on the past due amount.

If you do not pay your current bills by the due date, late charges will be applied to bills after November 1, 2021.

Hardship requests for payment plan changes will be reviewed by department staff on a case-by-case basis. The customer can contact WASD’s Care Center from Monday through Friday at 305-665-7477 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., except holidays to speak to a customer care agent.

Yes, you can pay your owed amount in full online, by phone or in person at one of our payment centers. Please visit www.miamidade.gov/water to pay online and find payment center locations. You may also call 305-665-7477 to pay over the phone.

Yes, all customers can request extensions of time to pay even if they are already enrolled in the payment plan.

Yes, you can make payments to your account at any time, please note that the payment plan amount will still be required at the time of your bill due date.

No, the payment plan amount will be based on your past due/outstanding balance as of Oct. 29, 2021.

Yes, all WASD’s satellite offices located at the South Dade Government Center, the Douglas Road office, the Caleb Center, and the Opa Locka office are open for business from Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
