Request Geographic Information Systems Data

Our central storage of geographic data includes many layers; the street network and property (parcel) layers being the primary base layers. Maintenance of the layers is performed by the responsible department. Information concerning geographic data or metadata as it is referred, is available for most layers.

Most production data can be downloaded for free from the GIS Self Services website.

Layers available by request for a fee:

• Property (parcel) layer data, or through a subscription service which provides automatic weekly updates
• Orthophotography

Geographic data is stored in ArcSDE, a Spatial Database Engine (ESRI’s relational database management system for geospatial data).
