- Round 2 (8 weeks) - The top 50 percent of teams to win will advance, and the bottom 50 percent of teams will be eliminated
- Round 3 (8 weeks) - The top 50 percent of teams to win round 2 will advance, and the bottom 50 percent of teams will be eliminated

Each department team must have a minimum of 18 participants and must designate a team captain who will be responsible for completing and submitting the team's registration form to wellnessworks@miamidade.gov by Nov. 17, as well as coordinating swag bags and incentive prize pick-ups for their team. Each department can enroll up to two department teams to compete in the tournament.
Each participant must appear on the registration form submitted by the team captain, be registered on Healthyroads, have a device linked to their Healthyroads account to track steps by Jan. 1, 2024 and must be eligible for benefits prior to Nov. 30.
Participants will receive a WellnessWorks shirt, surprise incentives and 25 Wellness points each quarter towards the 75 points required for eligible entry to $250 quarterly raffles.
Additional information can be found in the WellnessWorks Resources page.
Prizes:
Winning department team members will receive WellnessWorks mega swag bag, bragging rights and a championship WellnessWorks belt to keep for one year until the next champion is selected.
Disclaimer:
This is not a Quarterly Steps Challenge where employees register individually on HealthyRoads. The completed registration form is required. Team members cannot be changed, added or replaced once department teams are set up. Participants who display significant anomalies in performance will automatically be disqualified from the competition. Disqualification may impact the department team's performance and/or elimination from the challenge
