The 2026 Home Beautification Grant Program in District 10 provides eligibal homeowners with financial assitance to make exterior improvements to their homes. Residents interested in applying or learning more about elibitility requirements are encouraged to register online between August 17 and September 18.

Chairman Anthony Rodriguez Announces Home Beautification Grants to Help District 10 Families Improve Their Homes
Miami-Dade County Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is launching the 2026 Home Beautification Grant Program in District 10, providing eligible homeowners with financial assistance to make exterior improvements to their homes and help strengthen their neighborhoods. Through the program, eligible homeowners may receive grants up to $8,000 to make improvements such as exterior house painting and professional landscaping.

Chairman Anthony Rodriguez Delivers Lasting Tributes to Fallen Law Enforcement Heroes
The Board of County Commissioners approved measures sponsored by Chairman Rodriguez to honor Miami Beach Police Sergeant David Cajuso and Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Deputy Devin Matthew Jaramillo by naming public roadways in their memory. The Board also approved naming the football field at Devon Aire Park the “Deputy Sheriff Devin Matthew Jaramillo Field.”

Chairman Anthony Rodriguez Delivers Major Procurement Reform for Miami-Dade County
Currently, certain County procurement processes can take up to 349 days to complete. Once the STRIP reforms are fully implemented, that timeline is expected to be reduced to approximately 120 to 150 days, a reduction of more than 60 percent. The changes will allow County departments and businesses to move projects forward more quickly while maintaining the necessary safeguards and oversight.
