Commissioner Keon Hardemon encourages all individuals interested in advocating on behalf of District 3 and Miami-Dade County to make their voices heard by applying for appointment to a County Advisory Board. Board appointees have the opportunity to advise Commissioner Hardemon, his staff and the Board of County Commissioners on issues related to the board on which they serve. Below you will find a list of County Boards in District 3.
Other opportunities are available with Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization (TPO). The TPO Governing Board Vacancies are Freight Transportation Advisory Committee (FTAC), Transportation Aesthetics Review Committee (TARC), Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), and Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC).
You can also become involved in your community by serving on a Community Council Board. Community Council members help shape their community by making zoning and land use decisions for a specific geographic area.
