Resilient305

Greater Miami & the Beaches (GM&B) is a unique partnership of Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami, and the City of Miami Beach. GM&B joined forces in 2016 to lead the development of the Resilient305 Strategy under the 100 Resilient Cities Network – pioneered by the Rockefeller Foundation to meet the physical, social and economic challenges of the 21st century.

After extensive internal and external engagement, the Resilient305 Strategy was released in 2019. It serves as a living roadmap for prioritizing intergovernmental and community collaboration to achieve shared goals. The Year 1 Update in 2021 highlighted progress made on the Strategy’s 59 Action Items while showcasing pathways for further implementation.

Continuing progress on Resilient305’s vital mission and dedication to the Resilient Cities Network has led to new collaborations, including Miami-Dade County being chosen as the first community partner of the Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center at the Atlantic Council.
