Inmate Release

If an inmate has bondable charges, he or she can bond out at anytime. Check the yellow pages to find a bondsman, we are not allowed to recommend or solicit for bondsman. For further information on bonding out an inmate, or to find out the bond amount on an inmate, call inmate information at 786-263-7000.

There are several ways for an inmate to be released from jail including posting bond, qualifying for pre-trial release, being released resulting from a court hearing, etc.

Inmates are released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, the designated release center, between the hours of 6 a.m. - 9 p.m., regardless of availability of personal transportation.

Fugitive Extradition Hearing
Fugitive Extradition hearings are held Monday - Friday at 9 a.m., a judge will hear the case and it is the defendants opportunity to either waive extradition or to request further hearings prior to extradition.
